Not a bad spot, but you can find cheaper stays. Super fun random thing: they have a pancake machine. Also, one thing I found funny is that the Virden tap water has levels of arsenic in it, so they recommend limited consumption. I would recommend maybe offering free bottled water in that case, but I never asked. Other than that, not bad.

This hotel is very nice, it delivered in every area. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed, although it's starting to show its age a little. The pool area is nice and well equipped. There is a basic but tasty breakfast included. The location was convenient. And overall the hotel was neat, tidy and well kept with lots of parking and good highway access. This is a pretty modern hotel that offers everything you would expect at this price point. Our room was super with very relaxing beds and enough elbow room for a family of four. I especially appreciated the in-room Keurig machine, microwave and mini-fridge. TV and wifi were excellent too. We enjoyed our complimentary breakfast, the pancake machine churned out some excellent hotcakes although I noticed that last year's tasty sausages have been replaced with ham. There was always hot coffee available in the lobby which was welcome. Service was gracious and pleasant, although somewhat inconveniently, there is no housekeeping provided on weekends. My family enjoyed its stay and I'm sure we will be back.

On my cross country road trip this place was a saving grace. Walked in in the evening to see if there was a room for me- heck ya there was. Both the girls at the front desk were so kind and fun! I believe one girl was in training but it was a quick, fun, easy process. Breakfast in the moring was a treat, I just grabbed 2 bananas, a butter tart, and some juice to go but there were hot breakfast items available too. Nice big comfy rooms and bed, great water pressure. Only reason the room wont get 5 stars is I did find someone elses toe nail or finger nail in the shower, long hairs literally on the handle in the holder of the hair dryer, and more hairs stuck to the walls in the washroom. Ew. Besides that it was a lovely stay and the girls at the desk were a shining light

Hotel is right off the highway. Staff are amazing!! Continental breakfast was sooooo good. Premade omelettes and french toast to warm up, fresh fruit and pancakes at the push of a button. Great coffee!! Rooms have a mini fridge and microwave which was great for snacks for my kids. Especially at night. Pool, hot tub and slide?! Yes please!! We had such a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is okay, but Linda at the reception is an absolute angel! She truly cares about the guests.

Beds are super comfortable. Shower pressure was decent. Place is clean. Breakfast was plenty, only hot portion was pancakes. Parking was good, lots of room. Didn’t use pool but looked like a nice little set up

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now on cross Canada road trips. It’s right off the highway, they are so accommodating (I asked for a ground floor room both times), the rooms are huge and clean, the hot tub was great. The lady at the front desk is so kind. Great option in Virden.

We were travelling to Edmonton from Northern Ontario, and Virden looked like a great half way point to stop off for the night. Well, this hotel exceeded all of my expectations so beautifully, we decided to stay there again on our return trip home! The room was beautiful, clean and incredibly comfortable! The staff were warm and welcoming, the pool and water slide were a huge hit with my kiddo, and with the large sized family suite, there were the perfect amount of beds for everyone, so no one was forced to share! They provide an absolutely phenomenal breakfast with an assortment of food that everyone (including my incredibly food sensitive teenager!) absolutely enjoyed! There is a Boston Pizza, A&W, gas station and Tim Hortons all directly in front of the hotel’s massive parking lot! After 11 hours of travel, this hotel feels like a warm hug from an old friend, and I would happily stay here anytime I’m travelling that direction!
